Summary
TipSlice performs all tip, tax, and split calculations in your browser with JavaScript. We do not create accounts, we do not ask you to upload receipts, and the numbers you type into the calculators are not sent to our servers for storage or processing. Closing the page clears those values from your session.
What we collect
The calculators themselves do not collect personal information. Bill amounts, tip percentages, party sizes, and tax rates stay on your device. We do not operate a user database or login system for TipSlice.
Like most websites, our static host may keep standard server access logs (for example IP address, user agent, and requested URL) for security and reliability. Those logs are controlled by the hosting provider, not used by TipSlice to identify tip calculator users for marketing.
Cookies and similar technologies
TipSlice does not set its own tracking cookies for the calculator features. If we later enable advertising (Google AdSense) or analytics, third parties may set cookies or use local storage to measure traffic, remember preferences, or show relevant ads. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Advertising disclosure
TipSlice may display third-party advertisements when an approved advertising account is connected. Google and other ad partners may use cookies, web beacons, or similar technologies to collect or receive information from this site and elsewhere on the internet, and use that information to provide measurement services and target ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising via Google’s ads settings or industry tools such as the NAI opt-out.
Until advertising is enabled, ad placeholders on the site remain empty and do not load third-party ad scripts.
Children’s privacy
TipSlice is a general-audience tool. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a contact channel, please email us and we will delete it.

Changes
We may update this policy when features, hosting, or advertising change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we revise it. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
